Bonny Ancestors in the North-East of Scotland

My connection to the Bonny/Bonney family of Aberdeen comes via Elizabeth Logan Bonney (c 1836-1915). Daughter of butcher Henry Logan Bonney and wife Ann McLeod, she married James McLaren McKenzie in 1865. The name is relatively uncommon in the North-East of Scotland, other family descendants are found in Ross and Cromarty.

•  Family of Henry Logan Bonney and Ann McLeod (updated December 2008)
• Some thoughts about the relationships among the BONNEY, LOGAN and MCKENZIE families.
