Now posted, the first run-through of the
1911 England and Wales census derived from the data
at findmypast.com. All identified individuals are linked to the
compiled genealogies.
Please note that this is a work in progress... additional information will be posted as it is transcribed.

After this year's pilgrimage to Scotland, I have added a number of birth records from 1910-1930 derived from
National Registry House in Edinburgh. These are available within the
birth records
I also spent a couple of days in my favourite Aladdin's Cave of data, the
Aberdeen and North East Scotland Family
History Society. I transcribed much of the member data for Brebner/Bremner families from the extensive collection of
green binders in the basement... these are a great resource for both the beginner and the experienced genealogist alike.
I've always insisted that there's no point in reinventing the wheel of family genealogy, and many of these
records are a great starting point to explore some of the more obscure ancestors in your family.
One caveat... always verify the sources of all information found in these family group sheets.
