12 OCT 2009 After a very hectic spring and summer both personally and at the office, I'm once again back "in the groove" of Brebner/Bremner genealogy. This year, because of work commitments, I was unable to take my annual pilgrimage to Scotland, but have made considerable progress transcribing the wealth of data that is now springing up online. Recent transcriptions include the London Metropolitan Archives BMD records, Angus, Scotland burial records, Scottish deaths and burials from 1538-1854, as well as ongoing additions to the UK census databases. See the Project Status Page for details of these and other recent additions

The compiled genealogies recently passed a milestone of over 50,000 connected individuals over 450 separate families, and while quantity is not a reflection of quality, I continue to check and verify information within all these compilations to ensure accuracy.

Please drop me a line if you find any errors!

In early July I had a loss of e-mail correspondence because of a failed hard drive... if you wrote to me during the summer and have not received a reply, please write again. Incidentally, I now back up all correspondence daily offsite, and all genealogy data resides on four separate machines in three locations!
